My name is Chris Peterson and I grew up in New Jersey with a love of the outdoors.
Hiking parts of the Appalachian Trail, Colorado and beautiful areas in Ireland, Australia and New Zealand opened my eyes to the beauty of the land that surrounds us.

During the many driving trips my family and I take, we end up talking about the wonderful places we dream of living: a cabin in the woods, a small town off the beaten path or up-and-coming area. The possibilities seem endless.

Those conversations got me thinking – were other people having those thoughts too?
I started looking up land online and found that people were! Land buyers and sellers, all looking for new opportunities and adventures in life.

I decided I wanted to help people along their journeys and Peterson Lands was born.
